So, if anyone is like me, I tend to procrastinate A LOT (working progress people), which explains why I'm gift shopping 5 DAYS before Christmas.
Anyway, if you're living in New York (the tri-state area) and loves department stores, then Burlington Coat Factory on 14th Street Union Square is the store to be to get the most out of your budget. I kid you not, I spent less than $230.00 (as shown on the receipt below) on designer brands for my entire family and friends.
I should mention, that my first retail job was actually with this same company. Amazing deals!
Guys, the trick is spending WISE and NOT spending BIG not only this holiday season, but at all times basically.
Here are some photos of my bargain
This tote is the bomb! I want to point out that tassels are trending, whether jewelries, shoes or bags.
Here's a fun activity I enjoyed after shopping and you can too. Hop on over to the holiday market to shop, drink and mingle. Well, enough of the shopping right, but YES to drinking (doesn't necessarily mean alcoholic drinks) and mingling.
There's so much to appreciate in this last photo. This is the entrance of the market, beautifully decorated. Look even closer, you can see the Empire State building nicely lit beneath the arch. I snapped this photo in perfect timing to capture two lovebirds kissing under the mistletoe.

That's all folks. Happy Shopping! Fa la la la la la!
